🇫🇷 The essentials

  • 1 lesson per week during 42 teaching weeks each year
  • Paid monthly
  • Cancel at any time with 30 days’ notice
  • 60-minute lessons: €160/month
  • 45-minute lessons: €140/month
  • 10 weeks of scheduled teacher holidays
  • All lessons take place online
  • The regular programme always starts on the first day of a calendar month

You are not required to remain enrolled for the full calendar year.
The programme is paid monthly rather than as a single annual payment.

1. About Learn French with Antoine

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (“Terms”) govern the French language lessons and programmes offered by Antoine BLANCHARD, operating as a micro-entrepreneur under the name Learn French with Antoine.

By booking a lesson or joining the regular programme, the student confirms that they have read and accepted these Terms.

2. French lessons

Learn French with Antoine offers individual online French lessons for adult learners.

Online French lessons for adults students (individual lessons).

Improve speaking, writing, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, fluency, French culture, confidence and conversation.

Lessons are held via Zoom.

These are the options:

● Regular programme

The regular programme provides one lesson per week during the 42 teaching weeks of the annual teaching calendar.

-60-minute lessons:
160€ / month → approximately 45€ per lesson on average

-45-minute lessons:
140€ / month → approximately 40€ per lesson on average

● Individual lessons

For students who prefer complete flexibility:

€49 / 60-minute lesson

Individual lessons do not involve monthly payments or enrolment in the regular programme.

● Conversation Workshops

Conversation workshops are offered as individual sessions at a price of : 

€25 per workshop.

Each workshop is booked and paid for separately.

The price and booking conditions applicable to each workshop are those displayed at the time of booking.

3. Teacher’s commitments

Learn French with Antoine undertakes to:

  • provide the lessons described in these Terms and in the regular programme;
  • provide the Student with the necessary teaching materials and resources for the lessons;
  • inform the Student in advance of scheduled teacher holidays;
  • reschedule any lesson cancelled by the Teacher;
  • respect the scheduled start and end times of each lesson.

4. Student’s commitments

The Student undertakes to:

  • attend lessons at the scheduled time;
  • give at least 24 hours’ notice when cancelling a lesson if they wish to reschedule it;
  • understand that a lesson cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, remains due and cannot be rescheduled;
  • understand that lessons begin and end at the scheduled times and that lateness does not extend the lesson;
  • provide the equipment and internet connection necessary to participate in online lessons;
  • respect the intellectual-property rights applicable to teaching materials;
  • pay invoices within the payment period specified in these Terms.

5. Annual teaching calendar

The annual calendar covers 52 weeks and consists of:

  • 42 teaching weeks, during which one lesson is scheduled each week;
  • 10 weeks of scheduled teacher holidays, during which no lessons take place.

The 10 weeks of teacher holidays are not part of the 42-week teaching programme.

The holiday periods are announced in advance and are fixed as part of the annual calendar.

The monthly payment spreads the cost of the 42-week teaching programme evenly across the year. 

This makes the programme more affordable for you while providing greater financial stability for me.

6. Teacher holidays

For 2026, the scheduled holiday periods are:

Total: 10 weeks.

These holidays are outside the 42-week teaching programme. No lessons are scheduled during these periods.

They do not result in refunds, replacement lessons or changes to the monthly payment.

7. Monthly programme fees

The regular programme is paid through separate monthly payments.

● 60-minute lessons

160€ / month

→ 1 lesson per week during the 42 teaching weeks
→ approximately 45€ per lesson on average

● 45-minute lessons

140€ / month

→ 1 lesson per week during the 42 teaching weeks
→ approximately 40€ per lesson on average

The programme is billed monthly, not per lesson.

Invoices are issued automatically at the beginning of each month. Each invoice contains all legally required information.

Payment is due within a maximum of 15 days of receipt of the invoice.

Payment can be made by credit / debit card via Stripe, or by direct bank transfer.

8. Joining the regular programme

Students may join the Regular Programme at any time during the year, subject to availability.

The Regular Programme begins on the first day of each calendar month. 

If a student decides to join during a month, their subscription and lessons will commence on the first day of the following month.

Each student’s programme is established according to their individual level, goals and learning needs. 

Lessons therefore begin from the student’s own level and are tailored accordingly.

No programme fees are payable before the student’s subscription start date.

9. Cancelling your programme

You can cancel at any time.

There is no requirement to remain enrolled for the full calendar year.

A 30-day notice period applies.

To cancel, simply send an email to : antoineparisianfrench@gmail.com.

If your cancellation request is sent less than 30 days before the next scheduled payment date, that payment remains due and will be your final payment.

Learn French with Antoine will confirm the cancellation and the date on which the programme ends.

10. Cancelling or rescheduling a lesson

If you need to cancel a scheduled lesson, please give at least 24 hours’ notice.

  • ✅ 24 hours’ notice or more: the lesson may be rescheduled, subject to availability.
  • ❌ Less than 24 hours’ notice: the lesson remains due and cannot be rescheduled.
  • ❌ No-show: the lesson remains due and cannot be rescheduled.
  • 👨‍🏫 If the teacher cancels: the lesson will always be rescheduled.

Rescheduling a lesson does not change your monthly payment.

You remain entitled to your scheduled lesson.

11. Lateness

Lessons begin and end at the scheduled times.

If the student arrives late, the lesson will still end at the scheduled time. Missed time cannot be added to a later lesson.

12. Online lessons

All lessons are provided online.

The student is responsible for having:

– a computer or tablet with a built-in microphone and camera

– a stable internet connection.

Technical problems caused by the student’s own equipment or internet connection do not automatically entitle the student to a refund or replacement lesson.

13. Teaching materials

Teaching materials and resources provided by Learn French with Antoine are intended for the student’s personal use.

They may not be reproduced, distributed, sold or made publicly available without prior written permission.

14. Right of withdrawal

Where applicable under French consumer law, the consumer has a 14-day right of withdrawal from the conclusion of the contract.

If the consumer expressly requests that lessons begin before the end of this period, applicable rules concerning payment for services already provided will apply.

15. Personal data

Personal data provided by the student is processed in accordance with applicable French and European data-protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Personal data may be used for:

  • managing bookings;
  • providing lessons;
  • processing payments;
  • communicating with the student;
  • fulfilling legal and accounting obligations.

16. Complaints and consumer mediation

In the event of a dispute, the Student and the Teacher will first seek to resolve the matter amicably. The Student must first submit a written complaint directly to the Teacher.

If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably, or if the Teacher does not respond to the Student’s written complaint within two months, the Student may refer the matter, free of charge, to the designated consumer mediator:
